What happens to the data you send me

Who I am

This site is run by Rafael Cardoso Consulting, based in Portugal. For anything about your data, write to hello@rafaelcardoso.com.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, company (optional) and message. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which forwards it to my email and does not keep a copy beyond delivery.
• Email and WhatsApp: whatever you choose to send, stored in my mailbox or on my phone.
• Nothing else. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address when they are fetched.

Why and for how long

I use your details only to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement. Messages that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Engagement records are kept for as long as Portuguese tax and contract law require.

Who else sees it

Nobody, unless you ask me to share it, for example to pass your details to a ServiceNow partner for a role. I do not sell or rent contact details.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data I hold about you, or object to its use. Email me and I will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
